Founder, The WOW Group

It all started in 1999 when the late Founding Chairman of The WOW Group, Andres V. Sanchez Jr. (AVS) got his big break as a businessman. A Korean guy, Mr. Young In Kim, who later on became his partner, introduced the karaoke microphone to the Philippines. Being a good singer, he used to demonstrate the product during parties and gatherings. In-A-Jiffy Enterprises was born and became the exclusive distributor of karaoke microphones. The business boomed especially among overseas Filipinos and provided the resources for businesses that are now known as The WOW Group of Companies.

In 2002, he established IAJ Wellness Corporation (IAJWC) as distributor of highly innovative small kitchen appliances. G2K Corporation was incorporated in 2003 as the marketing arm form nationwide sales and distribution of consumer products. In the same year, Builder’s Choice Inc. (BCI) was created together with the Tiu Family and became the distributor of premium flooring and wall solutions. Maxx-Energie Ventures Corporation (MEVC) was also established as the sole distributor of C&D Technologies power systems.

AVS formed the WOW2k Holdings Corporation and acquired St. Anne Realty in 2005. In 2009, Audio-Video Solutions Corporation (AVSC) was founded as key distributor of premium line of audio & video products and lighting systems. The business continued to expand in 2017 as G2K Realty and BCI Property Development Corp. were established to build, renovate and sell real estate properties.
